"Just woke up to the sad, sad news that Corey Haim passed away. RIP sweet boy," the actress -- who dated Haim from 1987 to 1990 -- wrote on Twitter Wednesday morning.

The Los Angeles Coroner assistant chief confirmed to UsMagazine.com Wednesday that four prescription drug bottles were removed from Haim's North Hollywood apartment.
